Le Lumiere Certificates

Le Lumiere – Diamonds of Light is committed to deliver the highest standards of excellence by ensuring that each diamond is carefully selected and undergoes a stringent 60 points quality control inspection that differentiates our peerless diamonds amongst the rest.

Diamond certification is a formal report issued by an accredited independent gemological laboratory, which lists gemological information about the diamond’s characteristics such as carat weight, measurements, cut, colour, and clarity. Diamond certification is also referred to as diamond grading and it provides all customers with a degree of confidence that the diamond is genuine and has been accurately presented by a jeweler.

GIA Certificate

There are many reputable certification houses in the world. In Le Lumiere, each diamond (0.30ct & above) comes with a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification. GIA is an independent, nonprofit organization that conducts gem research and sets the standards for determining diamond quality. GIA diamond graders meticulously assess the color, clarity, cut, and carat weight of the diamond. A grade is not issued until sufficient consensus is reached. Le Lumiere Certificate

Apart from the GIA certification, each diamond (for 0.08ct & above) is authenticated with a Le Lumiere Certificate of Authenticity and laser inscription which verifies that each diamond has passed our stringent 60 quality control checklist. This ensures that each Le Lumiere diamond is an ideal 8 Heart 8 Arrows diamond, cut with a high degree of precision and angles that give them a brilliant look. The cut quality of a super ideal cut diamond goes above and beyond that of the GIA’s “Excellent”.

Laser Engraving

One special feature of Le Lumiere diamonds is its laser inscription on the girdle. Each Le Lumiere diamond bears a unique serial number laser inscribed on the girdle of each diamond. The laser engraving is invisible to the naked eye and can only be seen under 10x magnification. With the laser inscription, we can guarantee that the diamond is from Le Lumiere. The inscription is also documented on the Le Lumiere certificate for relevant identification purposes.
